Something about the contrast of an electric guitar and a tubby man in overalls really made me chuckle. So I decided to paint it.

I painted this for my dear friend Rae. One of the first paintings I have done that I have been really proud of. I took the original image down in Pleasant Grove somewhere and decided to only paint a portion of the bus. The three lights interested me the most, so that’s what I did!

This was done from a photo that my friend Rod Santiano took that I have been admiring for 4 years! I finally got around to doing it and am very pleased by the result.

This was my second attempt at art after doing the rose and it was highly successful. I made this while taking care of my grandma for two weeks. I sold it about 2 years later to Salt Lake Community College. It hangs in their culinary arts building.

I love this picture. I had to give my little doggy Ruby Jean away so I refuse to part from the drawing. She was a sweet dog and is having much more fun with her new owner.

I grew up in Kentucky. We never had to water our lawns, thus, we never fertilized them either and most of the grass was really just clover. I used to make necklaces out of clover flowers. One time I made one like ten feet long and kept it in a baby food jar until it rotted and my ma made me throw it away. That was last month. Just kidding.
Also, this piece is featured in Prismacolor’s 2009 Calender and on their website.

I originally made these for my kitchen, but I grew tired of looking at my own art all day. Each canvas measures 24 x 30.

This image has been on my mind for a while and I finally got around to doing it. It is supposed to be autobiographical. To explain: I seem in charge of things, smug, and proud, yet, I really am just teetering on very precarious legs. I can fail, or fall, at any moment.

I painted these for my son’s room. They are four feet tall by 2 feet wide. I love them and even though I was afraid they might…they didn’t scare him! I signed them “Mom”.
